DublinJazz.ie presents: Julien&John Feat. Susannah de Wrixon CANCELLED – RESCHEDULED DATE TBC
The Sunday Jazz Sessions in LoSt LaNe roll on into March with a performance from a perfectly mixed trio of musicians all coming from slightly different angles. John Keogh is a guitar player from the classical genre, Julien Colarossi, since his arrival from Italy 11 years ago has been a powerhouse on the Irish jazz scene. Add to the mix the theatrical songstress de Wrixon and you have the complete cocktail of art and entertainment.
Although the trio has been together for a relatively short time, each brings a harmony and unique dynamic to the act. It seems like they were made to perform together.

Julien&John have a growing reputation for wonderful guitar playing and superb arrangements of popular tunes. They have released two albums in recent years. The choice of performing with an archtop and a Spanish guitar accentuates the different landscape of sounds that both Julien and John bring to the table and the implementation of percussive techniques makes for a ‘jazzier and groovier’ sounding record.
De Wrixon has been charming audiences for years with her exquisite voice, keen wit and distinctive choice of song. She has toured with The Nualas, made regular appearances on stage and screen and performed on numerous occasions in the National Concert Hall. She is an impressive singer and her collaboration with Julien&John is a match made in heaven.
